Starting with
DFavors , Last year he was 265#'s,he had knee and back issues....this year 250-253#'s it won't interfere with his strength down low and he needs to anyways as he will be left behind in the Rubio era of more fast break opportunities
Gobert, Last year he was 245#'s ,the way he's working out I could easily see him come to training camp at 255#'s and staying around this weight.Becoming a focus of entry passes on PNR's should help him shed defenders easier.
Hood ,Last years weight of 206#'s won't be enough as he becomes more a 2/3 in offense and defense.Love to see him up around 218# range of more muscle. If he is to be counted on more points his present weight will lead to a continuation of nagging injuries as his usage increases.
Exum,Last years weight of 190#'s is great for a lightening quick first step BUT it hampers is completing the play at the rim. With a offseason under the trainers of the Jazz I'm hoping their getting Him above 200#'s this season ,keeping him active and quick defensively and more a force going to the rim.
Burks was 214#'s,he needs to be around 218# to still be active and to absorb the hits as defenses will test him to see if he can finish at the rim like they will with Exum.
Imgles and the rest look to be at ideal weights already.
Most of the added weight or loss of weight are in anticipation of more fastbreaks and uptempo running more offensively and for gambling defense with Gobert and a lighter Favors behind them.
