The way Mitchell has been shooting 3's of late (2-7 vs. Pho, 1-8 vs. Sac) he may break the record for missed 3's in a season. Or has he already?Mitchell is probably going to finish the season 2nd all time too.
I’m almost positive he’ll get that record. And no way, Mitchell has every indication of becoming a fantastic 3 point shooter. I’m sure he’s been told to take every single open three he sees. He’ll score 30 points per game at some point, and it will be because of the 3 point shot. The way Mitchell has been shooting 3's of late (2-7 vs. Pho, 1-8 vs. Sac) he may break the record for missed 3's in a season. That's my one criticism of Donovan. He takes a lot of very ill-advised 3's.
He has great form and release. He's sure to improve his percentage. Not sure it will be up there with the Ingles and Korvers though because he's not a catch and shoot 3-pt shooter And yes, some of his 3-pointers could use better shot selection but at the same time he has some incredible credible makes catching and spinning in mid-air and still achieving perfect balance.I’m almost positive he’ll get that record. Hornacek got passed up a long time ago by Memo, then by Foye. His record was 104. That’s been passed by a lot of guys.Congrats JI. Surprised he surpassed the likes of Horny but overjoyed that he did.
One of the truest ever. Already.
And Crowder for 3. And max space in 2019 today. We have Ingles/Gobert/Mitchell for the next 4 years, at least.![]()
He's 7th in the league for 3 attempts right now.The way Mitchell has been shooting 3's of late (2-7 vs. Pho, 1-8 vs. Sac) he may break the record for missed 3's in a season. Or has he already?

Can you imagine anyone on a Sloan coached team shooting threes like they were on a Snyder coached team?Hornacek got passed up a long time ago by Memo, then by Foye. His record was 104. That’s been passed by a lot of guys.
But it’s a shame he didn’t shoot more.
I could live with the decrease in attempts if we at least acknowledge its existence on defense. Can you imagine anyone on a Sloan coached team shooting threes like they were on a Snyder coached team?
Me either.
Don’t criticize Donovan....ever!The way Mitchell has been shooting 3's of late (2-7 vs. Pho, 1-8 vs. Sac) he may break the record for missed 3's in a season. Or has he already?

...back on topic. Congrats to Joe, I’m happy for him. Few guys deserve to be on the top of that list like Joe. He’s everything this organization stands for, and he deserves his place in history with this franchise....who knows maybe some day #2 will hang one day. Here’s to hoping so.
