The best chance of Exum having his coming out party is after a healthy offseason of hard work.
Why do we always feel as though we have to justify our fifth round draft pick in 2014.
The point is we need to keep giving him opportunities, especially considering Mack and Neto are not obviously better than him. He has shown glimpses of greatness.Has Exum not failed enough to be motivated in the off-season?
Snyder coaches young players very hard. I think he believes if his young players can handle such harshness and discipline, they'll maximize their potential and become tougher individuals in the process. If they cannot handle, they're not tough anyway and hence can't be relied upon in the long term. This approach has produced Rudy Gobert and Hayward of today but may also have caused Lyles and Exum's struggles.

I guess Snyder was dumb for playing him then? You do realize he played right? You do realize he did alright and played pretty good defense on a very hot Crawford right? Also I said he was statistically better for the entire season not just post all star, so don't try and twist my words to help prove your point. It gets more in favor of Exum when you look post all star but that isn't needed. Also you can look at what Exum did post all star and it is better than anything Mack has done ever in his career.
If Exum wants to be a PG he needs to learn to dribble.
Seems like a great time to have his coming out party.
I was gonna respond, but... see below
I've been saying this since his return. His handle is waaaay behind schedule.
He's also inconsistent at every aspect of the game right now. I'm not concerned to let him iron out much of that stuff during the freaking playoffs.
