Also, in just a bit of time THT seems to have gotten more love from Jazz media (Larsen/Locke/Tony) as a future PG than Sexton has. That's kind of interesting to me. Maybe I'm reading that completely wrong tho.
I think THT might be replacing Sexton, not Clarkson.Like most have said I could see him as JC's replacement. They have similarities in that they both were drafted by the LAL and were inefficient "chuckers", with Clarkson that is a bit what the Jazz needed off the bench but he has slowly improved a little during his time with the Jazz.
So my hope with THT would be, since he is younger than Clarkson when coming over to the Jazz he could improve some of those deficiencies even more. Also that someone brought up, he definitely has a unique body type and which is a good thing and one that makes me want to see if the Jazz can keep developing his game, it also should make him durable and we all know availability is a useful ability for a player.
One other similarity, in my mind between the two is their passing. By that I mean this season some of my favorite plays from both of them has been when they surprise me with their passing ability. So they both have showed they have a good passing ability when they chose to be use it and are locked in and both leave me wishing we could see it more often and that they'd both realize it would unlock the defense for them a bit as they could get easier shots.
Lastly, THT seems to like it here, he's a quiet guy (reminds me a bit of a young Favors that way) doesn't need and actually may prefer not being in a big city with all the media attention, so that is a small factor for the Jazz to want to try and keep him.
This is a great point - in fact:Post ASB THT is shooting 34% from 3.
If these were my alts the results would be much differentWow 53 people voted? How many alts does cy have, anyway? What, has he become one love all of a sudden?
Well at least 28 of them are yours then.If these were my alts the results would be much different
March MadnessTHT in March:
17.5 PPG 45/33/70, 6 APG, 5 RPG
Xanax and boozeWith what I’ve seen from him recently, the Pat Bev for THT trade rivals the Gobert trade in the sucker punch department! I honestly have to question how Sexton gets his starting job back.
How Connelly and Pelinka get to sleep at night is beyond me!
On the other hand, Sexton was playing amazing for the jazz in damn near every game he played in. Super consistent and very good.I honestly have to question how Sexton gets his starting job back.
