This trade seems to make sense for all three teams:

Kings get Kanter and Courtney Lee
Bulls get Zach Randolph
Knicks get Jabari and Koufos

Kings want to make the playoffs and Kanter & Lee would help them. The Kings have a ton of cap space so taking Lee's $13 for next year really isn't that big of a deal.

Bulls save some money and dump Jabari so that makes them happy. Maybe they squeeze a 2nd from NY in this deal.

Knicks want to shed future salary more than anything. If Jabari fits well, they can bring him back. More than likely, they just let him walk in the summer.

Jabari supposedly said he wondered what it’d be like to play for the Jazz. This year is going to be good for him long term if he gets some self awareness and commits to winning basketball and work ethic. I’d be interested bringing him in next year on a cheap make good deal... not interested in trading for him as there is no upside on his current deal. Maybe a two year deal at the min this offseason... like Nerlens got. Play well in a winning situation and change the narrative around him.

Maybe cash, but Chicago is under no pressure to move. NY may want to take a flyer on Jabari, but Chicago doesn't want what Erdogan's offering.
