At any rate, obviously this has gotten a lot of pub here in Chi city, especially since Coach K is a CPS product himself.

And I don't think it's been mentioned here, but apparently MSU was his first choice except that they have a junior who plays the same position as JB. And Parker didn't want to disrespect him by making him have to fight for playing time. Or something like that.

What happened to the prediction? ****, braugh. It's high-time you got some legit insider info and stuck the landing.

Remember when we used to crucify InsideJazzMan? And here PKM has more rep than me and all of my alts combined.

And what position is that? I'll be shocked if he ends up as anything other than a 4 man in college/pros. He already has a Polynesian type body, and that side of him is going to kick in even more in the next 2 or 3 years.

I see. Seems like Payne plays it all, so I can't really tell what position Jabari thinks he is. Surely Duke has somebody on their roster that will be around next year that plays the same "position" too, no? My guess is that it was as close down to the wire as PKM and others said it was and he might have given MSU the impression he was leaning that way and then he came up with a nice way to let MSU down once he settled on Duke. Either that or he's the nicest person in the world.

He did choose MSU .. even told coach K. Changed his mind, as people do. I do think this was a 'nice' way of changing his mind.

Yeah it's true, when I was trying to choose where to go, it came down to Michigan State and Duke for me as well. In the end I decided to choose a career in Geology so I had tell BOTH Coach K and Izzo that I wasn't coming. It was tough.
