its good for the playoff bus. The thinking is that we cant/wont catch the thunder anyways and it gets us closer to catching the clippers who are currently one spot ahead of us on the playoff bus in 9th place. (the jazz are 10th)

When Gobert comes back I think we can get in a rhythm if we can lose one of Favors or Rubio from the starting lineup. I know you shouldn’t root for injuries but Rubio being held out on some technicality like Neto would really sharpen things. Anyway, I think we’ll put together a good stretch like after the Kanter trade and people will be talking about a championship again.

Gobert returning and landing Mirotic would be a magic bullet.
