Jazz 2017/18 Playoff Bus! All Aboard!

The thing no one mentions here is that by allowing inferior teams to hang close there are no garbage time mins, no chance to rest the starters. You wonder how much better Mitchell, Gobert or Ingles could be if they could occasionally sit out entire 4th quarters.

Pretty much zero teams are doing that at this point in the season (except for tankers, who take starters out for different reasons), no?

I don't think we've been sitting our starters in games where we have blown teams out in the 4th any way - like the Minnesota game for example.

Why do people do this? Linguistic black face?

Please don't do this.

I feel sorry for fans who still manage to be disappointed amid this crazy turnaround season.

Completely agree. Who expressed disappointment?
Uh, I'm pretty sure he was talking about you. Do you read your own posts?
100% true. It has been a while since we have beat a good team that had their full cast of characters. We have been narrowly winning games against teams we should handle relatively easily and getting beat by the Hawks and a very undermanned Celtic team. We are far from out of the woods. Agree that if Gasol had played the 4th that game is in question. We showed up in Minny but that is about it. We will need to play a lot better the next 4 or keep catching breaks to finish where we want.

I don't see that much play, but I do get the idea that we have some guys who will do what they need to do when they need to do it. No boom bigheads/bust boobs, no manic depressive mood swings. If our team can just be steady players putting out enough to get the win, I'm hoping we can make/take the finals????
