What's new

Jazz (26-12) at Wizards (13-25), Sunday 1/12/20, 1:30pmMT, 3:30pmET

JC is an absolute gunner of a player, but has the ability to make the pass while in attack mode when it’s the obvious correct play. How many combo guards get doubled in the post and found Gobert for the wide open 2 pts, and he did it in a variety of ways last night. Finding Gobert while in the post, dumping it off to Gobert on the drive, and the lockout to O’Neale for an open three. He’s very similar to Lou Williams, but not sure getting buckets for his teammates has ever really been a part of his game the way it is for Clarkson.
We need to extend Clarkson and Royce ASAP.

Ok I’ll go there ...

The female ref isn’t up to do this job

Here's the thing. You make it about her sex/gender and it's a problem. She's a new official. She's being trained by, guess who, the folks who train the other officials (who are also bad). She stands out because she's a woman, so you are more likely to remember a bad call and due to confirmation bias you're more likely to connect it with sex/gender rather than with lapses which most officials have.

So go ahead and go there, but the "there" you went to is called sexism.

Exhibits C and D are Jeff Green and Ed Davis though...
That is why I asked if you are in after exhibits A and B... I'm a closer!

Technically you'd work Royce, Joe, and a bunch of dudes in that convo… hell show them that we turned Opie into Captain America and then Stevens and the Celtics broke him the first day they had him.

Didn’t take as many pics this year but here are a few. I kept telling my wife “as long as they keep it close we’re good” but getting down 15 to start the 2nd half gave me some concern. But the Jazz did what the best teams do: they turned up the D and took advantage of the Wiz cooling off. It was a solid road win without the Don.
Inside Bogey and Outside Bogey, pick your poison and forgetaboutit...

Can’t say it was the most fun I ever had at a ballgame, thanks mostly to Mr. jAZZcrack. Hey, people should have a good time at the game so stand, cheer, and go for it. No problem with that but whenever this drunk guy in front of us stood up, which was often, about 3 or 4 inches of his jAZZcrack was showing a couple feet in front of our face. Plus Mr. jAZZcrack and Ms drunkWizard in the next section over kept obnoxiously yelling at each other. It wasn’t mean spirited per se, although it was hard to understand Ms drunkWizard and jAZZcrack kept egging her on……….the……….entire………game.

Anyway, on to Crooklyn, GO JAZZ!!!

So I didn’t know Thomas Bryant was who was drafted with the pick we traded for Bradley. So Thomas Bryant and Josh Hart for Bradley. I know I’m a little late to the game but damn.

Lots of centers in that draft... made no sense to move up for Tony... could have taken a wing and a center later on... That was when they were doing the "we can't have too many prospects on this team"... now we like to sign all the prospects! NWG, Oni, Morgan, Tucker... and Bradley (still).

DL obviously liked Bradley specifically as opposed to just "drafting a center". He probably deserves the benefit of the doubt considering how right he was about Mitchell and Rudy. Nobody gets every pick right and it would be unreasonable to expect such.
