I honestly don’t think that’s in the realm of possibility. If they say that it’s a bluff.

But the answer to your question is you trade him elsewhere and the Knicks FO gets cleaned the **** out.

If they are willing to say nevermind then I am not so sure the package they offered was ever really that good. It would hurt the tank... but we would go form surefire bottom 4 team to surefire bottom 8-9 team. We could always do the OKC tank where Don gets swelling and sits.

I would prefer to have this thing done by training camp. If it isn't then I've said I'll take the maximized meh package from the heat maybe. It might not be much different than the Knicks deal if they were just willing to walk away.
 
One thing to note... Pat Riley is Heat Culture... Pat is 77 years old. I would doubt he is in charge in 2027... but who knows.
