A guy at my work mentioned how he would like fried chicken for a potluck/company party and there was a black man present.
Telling other people what to bring to a potluck is awkward generally. If he wanted to eat fried chicken, bring fried chicken.

I get why Gail did what she did in a way, but on the other hand it was kind of disrespectful to all the people who didnt do anything wrong. There was no need to lecture the entire arena. It made us all look racist.
I cant stand this hypersensitive culture and PC policing.
How does it make any sense to say that only white people can be racist?
I try to be respectful to all human beings. But because of history I should just be cuck and walk around with white guilt?
No ****ing thanks. Alot of other people feel the same way too, and pushing these ideas constantly is only making things worse imo.
All I feel I can do is live and raise my kids to treat every single person with the exact same amount of dignity and respect regardless of skin color or religion. I fear for the world they will raise their kids in because I feel things are getting worse.
As far as my example of "atta boy", if i said it to someone like Burks who seems easy going and laid back he probably wouldn't get offended ...
Our relationships were established long ago before the age of offense we currently reside in ...
What about when a player makes a great play and his teammates yell out "Yeah boy!"? Should they get fined and ejected and subsequently suspended?
Someone might come up to me and say "do you know (insert whatever name here)?" and i might answer with "Hell ya, he's my boy!"

I don’t know what is and isn’t racist anymore. This whole thing has been crazy. I guess just don’t talk to them is the safe thing to do.
I see that @fishonjazz has more than double the number of posts of the next highest poster this week. That's obviously due, in part, to his high-quality work in this thread. smh.

I got my kids taken care of but I appreciate the sentiment. You could teach them to use their own power to fight for people who have less power. That would be something more.
I don't think the steps that the Jazz have taken recently are a bad thing but the t-shirts worn by the players tonight made me feel like the Jazz are trying too hard and it felt over the top. Here's a tip, if you aren't sure something you want to say might be be racist, it probably is.
getting him to stfu would hardly be useless. If anybody is taking his particular brand of "middle of the road" to heart, then that aint good. In short, he should stfu.Smfh. Quit tryin to start useless ****
I agree. White people should never talk again. Here's a tip, if you aren't sure something you want to say might be be racist, it probably is.
Man, if you can't talk to black people without getting into questionable territory that's on you. Millions of white people are able to do just that every day.I agree. White people should never talk again.
