How they going to match salary? Will need help or to put one of Kyrie or Hayward in the deal... if you aren’t trading Brown they really keeping Brown, Tatum, Hayward and adding Kawhi?

It’s gonna be Hayward and Rozier and a pick...

Honestly I think they are being used as leverage.
 
Somewhere I'll have to find the deal I proposed where Boston got Kawhi, we got JJJ and Parsons, San Antonio got picks, Bradley, some other pieces. Forget what it was but it was a decent deal. I'll have to go pull it up.

For Favors it isnt even as much the other players that are FAs it more about the fact he had some injury issues and has a reduced limited role with the Jazz. If he had been more healthy the last couple years and a bigger role he would be looking for a good pay day this year. I like Capela but Favors is a more complete player when healthy and only 3 years older. Plus Capela is in probably the best spot for him possible to look good.

Even totally healthy I'd take Capela over Favors in a heartbeat.

This is simply Ainge starting negotiations. I wouldn’t read anything into today.
 
If we really are going to go after PG should we be hoping the lakers trade for Leonard, which means LBJ might want to sign, then they’re interest in George would go away, right. Maybe then DM could entice PG to sign a try it out one year deal?

I think LA wants all three (PG, LBJ and Kawhi). However, that's impossible unless LA moves Deng. I just highly doubt San Antonio would take Deng in any scenario. A 3rd team would have to be involved.

I would definitely give them some garbage (like the rozier, picks, and scraps of boston) for an mvp caliber player. No doubt.
