Jazz select Justin Wright-Foreman with the 53rd pick

Bigs have a bigger effect on defense than perimeter guys. I think that maybe we have someone that can help him out a little there.
Of course, but plenty of perimeter players post terrific DRtgs. Marcus Evans, 6'2" out of TCU posted a DRtg of 87.9 this past season -- good for 9th nationally. Of the top 10 DRtgs in the country this past season, three were perimeter players. Not expecting any perimeter player to have a Rudy Gobert-type impact, but one would love to have perimeter players who are better than average defensively. Based solely on his college showing, it doesn't look like JWF is that guy.

D is not 99% effort. You need the tools, too.

Tools and IQ... So effort, tools, IQ... missing one of those three can make you a bad defender.

I have no doubt that he is a minus defender, but is he Grayson Allen bad or just Neto bad (Neto gives effort but gets scored on a lot).

If Bradley is playing with the Stars this year (not arguing that he shouldn’t), then we need to cut our losses post haste. Would rather give that spot to Bol Bol’s grandfather.

Too soon.

I'd just like to start this post by saying you're welcome in advance.

Here is what is going to happen... We are $403k short of meeting the salary demands of the Conley trade per Tony Jones. If it comes in as projected we either need to waive favors or Neto….. orrrrrrrr

We waive and stretch Bradley... DL reluctantly does it because "his hands were tied and they really value what Neto brings"... after mentioning Bradley's improved balance and increased hand pad thickness he says we had to stretch him...

How much does the stretch save us in cap room you might ask... $411k once you add in the empty roster hold... right about perfect. DL gets his out on a failed experiment and we keep the other guys that actually help us.

The bad news is we will see about $650k in room used up for the next three seasons... but it will serve as a scar to DL not to eff up again.

Again... you are welcome.

I’ll be legit sad to see TB go.
