Jazz vs. Pistons (7:00 MT)

I think we win this one but my fear is that the Jazz have a tendency to play up or down to their competitors. If that happens, this is definitely a trap game.

Next 12 games, I hope the Jazz can crush it and every team has a slip up no matter what. Tonight's game could be one for an emotional let down after the good win against LAC but the team seemed to say the right things after the win so I hope not.

The next 2 that are the most likely are @ORL and IND (Jazz haven't beaten IND since Hayward left I believe).

7 of those games are on the road. I could see us losing 3 of them. Possibly 4 if we hit a funk.

I want 11-1.

We beat them in Indiana Donovan’s rookie year, I believe.

Detroit just suffered worst loss of the season at the Spurs. They beat Washington on Dec 26th by 30 points, but before that they had lost 5 in a row by an average of 15 points.

I was reading earlier today their coach is taking heat, accused by some of playing Brown out of position. They say the team lacks a true PG.

Detroit fans are bitter their team drafted Luke Kennard one pick ahead of Donovan Mitchell. Oops.

To add to their bitterness, Sekou Doumbouya, the 15th pick in the 2019 draft has appeared in 6 NBA games for 22 minutes. He is averaging 16 pts and 5 rebounds in the G-Leauge and he showed up in Utah this morning sparking speculation that he might play.
