Why do you say that? You don’t think domestic labor doesn’t want jobs?Except those people don't want to work these jobs. They all want magical, fantasy factory and mining jobs from 50 years ago.
If the companies only had American citizens to offer these jobs what would happen? The companies would have to increase the wages to entice domestic workers or look at more automation.
Instead they:
“They came to us for one reason: they were looking for ways to find out how to work,” Casey Rollins, executive director of the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Springfield chapter, said of those who came to the Ohio city from Haiti.
“So we got together immigration lawyers and interpreters to figure out how to help them work. We are getting them online and getting them to apply [for work permits]. We wanted workers here [in Springfield] – they want to work.”
The city looked at cheap labor from other countries. Now it’s created an infrastructure mess and it’s not fair to Haitians, who also want to work, to be thrown into this political and economic mess.
