What's new

Jeremy Evans kinda reminds me of...

...a young Dennis Rodman (before he became a head case). Both extremely athletic and lanky, I think Evans can become a dominant rebounder like Rodman was if he wants to be. Evans just needs to learn how to tip the ball to himself (a rebounding technique Rodman mastered) because we all know he can outjump everyone. A couple of big difference though, Evans can actually shoot the ball, whereas Rodman was a complete dud offensively.

I think you have still the Christmas hangover!

This is not a slight to Jeremy but rebounding isn't really based on physical tools. You can either do it or you can't. Someone like Brook Lopez should have all the physical tools too, but he doesn't. Jeremy's highest rebounding average in college was his senior year where he pulled down 6.9. I've never seen anyone develop rebounding skills that weren't present when they were in college or early in the league. I could be very wrong, but I'd love to know of any if there are.

Maybe if he went on the Oliver Miller diet and started doing a Malone workout.

Turn fat into muscle baby.

Rodman was 6'7" and 225 lbs. Guy has some of the best timing I have ever seen and he went after every ball. He is one of those guys that can see where the shot is going to hit way before it gets to the rim and is the best out of space rebounder ever.

Evans is a little taller and way lighter. He gets rebounds by out jumping people not because he is in the right place.

This is a really bad comp.

I like how in akiracs works Jeremy Evans is going to be a hall of famer and Gordon Hayward is made of poop.

Keep it up there kid. You might be into something.
