rodman once avg 18reb for entire season!! twice!!
evans would be lucky if he avg 9. it's hard for skinny dudes to rebound. they get boxed out easily

and people forget that Rodman entered the NBA as a 25 year old rookie and he didn't become a truly dominant rebounder until he was 30 years old
I'm not saying Evans will become a better rebounder than Rodman, but he definitely has the physical tools to become a very good rebounder in this league IMO.
...a young Dennis Rodman (before he became a head case). Both extremely athletic and lanky, I think Evans can become a dominant rebounder like Rodman was if he wants to be. Evans just needs to learn how to tip the ball to himself (a rebounding technique Rodman mastered) because we all know he can outjump everyone. A couple of big difference though, Evans can actually shoot the ball, whereas Rodman was a complete dud offensively.
This is not a slight to Jeremy but rebounding isn't really based on physical tools. You can either do it or you can't. Someone like Brook Lopez should have all the physical tools too, but he doesn't. Jeremy's highest rebounding average in college was his senior year where he pulled down 6.9. I've never seen anyone develop rebounding skills that weren't present when they were in college or early in the league. I could be very wrong, but I'd love to know of any if there are.
