    Yes.

His self help stuff is very derivative . But people are desperate for answers so they buy it. Brilliantly marketed.

You are better than this One Brow. Who cares who the guy takes photos with or speaks to. You can't judge someone's character based on who they take photos with:

He encourages continuing a traditional societal norm of practicing monogamy for the betterment of our society as a whole, which is pretty much already in place (although changing), and this is sexism? He's certainly very "pro-family" and I think that leads to his ideas on why culturally we should be encouraging monogamy. Again, if that's the bar to call someone sexist......then a lot of people, including women, are sexist.
He's stated repeatedly that he would address someone as they requested after having that discussion with them, individually. There is a difference between laws that prohibit you from saying something, and forcing you to say something. I feel the same way. If someone asked me to call them by a specific pro-noun, I would do my best to oblige (there are like 100 of them, so it could be challenging). However, I don't think it's the government's place to intervene here. My nephew has recently informed the family that he is transgender, and we are supportive and loving (while address him as "he/him", which is his preference).

That's why I said she may not be a white supremacist. She's still comfortable giving them legitimacy.

Perhaps you missed the part about "enforced" monogamy accidentally, perhaps deliberately. I have no problem practicing monogamy, it's the enforced part, and the reason for so doing, that is sexist.

    Sure. No question there.

It's nice of her to offer to recognize someone's preferred gender (which I think we can agree is central to many people's identity) after they have a lengthy conversation to persuade her. Should Peterson object to how I identify her gender, I'll be happy to change my usage after she decides to have a conversation with me that convinces me. I mean, why go for simple politeness when you can force people to jump through hoops?

Since the government in question was not intervening, this is moot.

Indeed. I was at an event the other day and my wife pointed out to me a former student at the school where she teaches, 3 years fresh out of high school, who is employed with her mom as a life coach (her family is quite wealthy).

I can't imagine who wants/needs as a life coach some privileged young 20-something, utterly lacking in life experience that might make one more effective as a life coach beyond spouting the usual cliche'd BS, but there she is.

Yep, people are gullible, desperate, and easy prey for slick shysters lying in wait to cliche them out of their hard earned money.

I've been watching a few of Peterson's videos on YouTube. I can't get over how he talks and his voice's pitch. It's super annoying to me.
