Let’s be clear here: LAC’s biggest problem is Gobert. A big decider in this series is, therefore, how quickly and effectively we counter their attempts to neutralize him.
I agree with this completely, and LA certainly has the ability to disrupt our offense, but what is unique about Dallas' offense that LA struggled with but is able to put the clamps down on us?Playoffs are about matchups. Comparisons such as this are pretty hard to take very seriously.
well with conley out.....ingles is going to need to step the **** UP, he looked like UTTER GARBAGE vs the grizzlies...it was sad to watch.
He had a week off, then played 27 minutes per game over 5 games, then got another week off. I hope he's good to go.At least he's had a week to rest, work out and prep. Can't ask for more than that. I'm guessing he'll guard PG.
Luka. If they switch he can take whoever they switch on to him. Bev was too small so they had to burn one of their big wings on him. Since he's bigger he can see over the defenders and still get a shot off... even if highly contested.I agree with this completely, and LA certainly has the ability to disrupt our offense, but what is unique about Dallas' offense that LA struggled with but is able to put the clamps down on us?
This is a very general answer, but the Mavs are less flow oriented than us. Luka is their alpha and omega. Their offense goes as he goes... and he’s very hard to stop. Definitely one of the best iso players in the entire league.I agree with this completely, and LA certainly has the ability to disrupt our offense, but what is unique about Dallas' offense that LA struggled with but is able to put the clamps down on us?
I think this is realisticOur 3 pt barrage isn’t nearly as potent without our all-star PG. I was worried about this series even before conley got hurt. Now I’m pretty pessimistic about our chances. Hope I’m wrong.
