What's new

Kanter fractures arm punching chair.

I still remember years ago that qb for the redskins head butting a wall injuring himself. He was the butt of more then a few jokes from fans and media a like. It's not like he got some game injury or anything like that. Dude threw a hissy fit and broke his arm or wrist or whatever it was!! Why in the hell would we need to feel sorry for one giant douche who ripped on me my team and state minus the mountains!! Thank god he left the mountains lol.

Social justice warrioring aside, don't expect me to feel bad that you got yourself a boo-boo that you gave yourself because you didn't like your state of affairs (by the way, it's a broken hand, he's not on his deathbed). Like it or not, Kanter left this organization because of his actions, not ours.

He ragged on his own teammates.

He disrespected the fanbase.

His agent freely talked and went unchecked by Kanter himself about how we're awful.

He even said that our city/state sucks as large piles of dirt/rock were his highlight.

Whether you believe in karmic forces or not, I do have a sense of humor that the actions of this moron could hamper our closest division rival and make their playoff road a little more precarious. That's not being unsympathetic, that's me living in a reality-based world where our team should take advantage of our opponent's miscues.

MVP doesn't seem to live in the real world, or he could be just as big of a douche as the Kanter bitch!

He was playing well. This could help us if we face OKC. Poetic justice that he becomes the scapegoat in that scenario.

Why do we care about anything that has to do with Kanter? Jazz fans are rather embarrassing when it comes to this type of obsession with ex-players who've slighted the team or the fan base.

Seriously, cry the **** harder or get over it.

Some of you are really disgusting. I was a biggest Kanter doubter here after draft and certainly was not a fan of numerous basketball decisions he has made, but to be happy that he broke his hand? Sick...So if he dies in car or plane crash you guys will be happy too? It's just a game for **** sakes, he is same human like all us... show some sympathy you sickos.
Not like we are laughing at him dying. We are laughing at a moran doing something stupid. And to top it all off he is the most hated player in the NBA by this franchise's fans, deservedly so. So in summation, **** him and I enjoyed laughing when I heard the news.

I dislike Kanter. Let me make that clear.

But at least the guy showed some emotion. How many have complained that outside of Gobert, Jazz players don't have passion? I'd love to see Favs punch a chair, or hear Hood or someone else kicked over the water cooler after an embarrassing loss.

I once had a "Kanter" moment. Kicked my 2-ball bowling bag after I lost the league championship in the 10th frame. Only problem was my spare ball was still in it. Walked with a limp for the next week.

id love to see hayward, or favors show this much emotion

Laughing at someones stupidity is one thing ( I laughed when Latrell Sprewell did not get any more money after he declined 27 mil deal as it was not enough to feed his family according to him)... to say "makes me happy" that somebody broke an arm ( no matter how stupid it was) is quite different.

As stupid as it looks aftermath, still sorry for my dude as he was ballin' this season. And it wouldn't be considered stupid at all if he was not injured. Just a moment of immature expression of fury.

Agreed. Have fun booing for that season, then after that let it go already.

Also, compare Kanter to a guy like Howard. I doubt Dwight would ever get an injury like this, mainly because he doesn't seem to care all that much about the game. He doesn't seem passionate. Why was Kanter upset, anyway? That could speak to the matter as much as anything else.

I think it was the officiating. But knowing Kanter I am sure there is more going on in his head.

So what do you guys think about what action the teams should take in these kinds of situations? What would happen in an office job if you out of frustration injure yourself and be absent for quite a while that you will affect the annual performance of the company? What would a rational mind decide if you put the contacts aside? Since this is personal irresponsibility, would a financial fine be just? Or shall we just call this a "We are all human, **** happens" situation?

I love the serious soldiers on this forum.... and then they'll go watch Americas funniest videos or something likewise and laugh at people that get hurt from doing something stupid. Absolutely no difference except Kanter played basketball here
