KU and Mizzou to the MWC?

Wow Mullet boy has real dropped the ball. Possible financial impact for the Utes:

Which is great, but the fans don't see any of that. If you guys get 5-8 million more a year, which would still put your revenue below TCU/BYU by the way, what does it matter to the average fan? The biggest question in this whole scenario is if you guys can compete in that conference. You guys will be back to pre 00's Utah in no time if you can't.

I wouldn't worry about responding to Duck he just wants to get a rise cause he's filling a bit left out

Not at all. There is this little school in SoCal that runs the Pac 1 + 9 that I grew up loving almost as much as BYU because my parents are both alumni from there.....so I never feel left out. I will love nothing more than to watch that little school kick the **** out of Utah every year.

BYU being left out of the Pac 10 is no biggie. Everybody knows it's because a couple of the hippie schools don't like Religion. Affiliation with God > Conference affiliation. BYU's demographic argument is going to be too good to ignore in the future on any basis, so if they are stuck in the MWC for a few more years, so be it. But even now, there is still a chance that something could happen with BYU and the Big 12 assuming Texas is really staying. I've never expected BYU to be in any other conference except the MWC throughout this process however, so I can't really be disappointed. Utah and BYU will still play each other.

Link? I highly doubt a move to the Pac 12 would still leave Utah with less revenue than BYU and TCU. BYU will be on a crappy tv contract, in a crappy conference. Utah will be on national TV in a major conference, and likely playing in the Rose Bowl.

If you have some info that says BYU and TCU will still be makig more money than Utah, I would love to see it.

Then again, I guess going to the Pac 12 might bring in some donors so that might fill in the gap. TCU has a couple of people that make huge donations, hence them doubling Utah's revenue that year.

So the Y made 10mil more a year then the U last year but IF the U goes to the Pac 10 (12 or 16 whatever) it will make a certain amount more just by being in the conference due to the TV deal and the BSC money whatever smaller portion they would give them. I'm sure IF they go they wouldn't be given a equal or full share if not permanently then for an initial "induction" period. I think that is probably more what he was referring to.

Also I forgot your a L.A. wannabe Zoob at least if your story is true you have a better excuse then most, new age "bandwagon" Zoob is LA wannabe old school "bandwagon" Zoob is Boston wannabe by way of Ainge. I know I'm not the only one that has noticed this as I think 1320 has made reference to it as well. As well as due to the fan base moving to a BCS conference wouldn't work since they wouldn't be able handle the losses.
