Last game of the season -- Jazz @ Blazers 4/11/2018 8:30 pm MST

Here are my observations:

#1 Portland was really prepared and focused. They came to play and played well.

#2 The refs gave every call to Portland in the first half. It was comical.

#3 Mitchell got some good schooling which should help in playoff prep.

#4 It is complete and total bullcrap that we had to play such an important game, game #82, on the 2nd night of a back to back. Whoever schedules NBA games is a freaking moron. That should never happen. If our playoffs lives depended on last night, how incredibly unfair that scenario would have been.

To any dumbass on here saying anything negative about Quinn’s coaching, go to hell. Shutup. And get a life and a brain. The dude is one of the best coaches in this league you armchair internet trolls can just disappear.

Need a tampon bro? Good gawd can you separate him being outcoached one game from his whole season. Or do you think he is so amazing that he never makes mistakes?

If we want to talk about acknowledging mistakes, I can think someone with a whole host of bad takes that could use some self-reflection.

Easy now,
step away from the keyboard,
take a deep breath
Find your zen

THEN flame away!

Safety people, safety
Would hate to lose anyone before we dominate the POs

Would they have scheduled GS or Cleveland on a B2B for the last game of the season? Seems easy enough to make sure no team has that.

To me, it's pretty freaking easy. Half of the league should play on the 2nd to last day of the season and the other half plays on the last day of the season. There is no valid reason that any team should have to play both the 2nd to last and last day of the regular season. And likewise, no team should have to play the 3rd to last AND 2nd to last day. It's just common sense - don't screw a team NBA.

And a 3rd in 4 nights with flights involved.

The other thing I think we need to do when we play teams that drop the big is to play our stretch 4s more than Favs. We need the extra space.

Not only a back to back, but third game in four nights, with travel required for each game.

We had more turnovers than them and shot worse than them and only lost by single digits on the road. Not terrible.

I'm curious, was Mitchell taking dumb shots? I saw his shooting numbers. Also, screw Crowder. The guy is gonna shoot us out of a playoff game or two.

They mugged Mitchell the whole game. Apparently just enough to not get called for fouls. Mitchell says he finally figured it out but not until the fourth quarter. This will prove to be good preparation for how Thunder will try to work him.
