What's new

Longest Thread Ever

Personally, somehow I went past the big 4K without a cheer or a boo or a brag. Well, I'm doing the brag.

I'd say it's a holiday that is now just an outdated relic, like our Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Absurd exuberance about "independence" when our government today is doing everything to us the Brits ever did.

Jay Leno must be a rerun tonight. . . . joking about Snowdon. . . ha ha. High School dropout, earning 120K living in Hawaii with a hot balerina chick on the line. . . . and he gave it all up on principle. . . well, more out of sheer true liberal idealism gone bust over what Obama actually is. . . . a stooge for the interests, cartelists, the current versions of what the British Far East Trading Company was in 1776. . . . a stock corporation with a worldwide empire, selling opium to China, bringing slaves to America, exerting influence with the government far beyond what anybody can call decent.

And boy am I glad, as a Mormon. . . . well, sorta. . . well, a sympathizer in some respects if a critic in others. . . . that the Moron Church doesn't have to be cooking up a lot of apologetics for the mess Mitt would be making of this country. . . . nobody deeper int he Bush pocket on this planet, he'd be all in on all the superspy atrocities our "intelligence" corporates have got this country committed to. . . using their technologies of course. . . .

uhmmm. . . I've been watching an excellent DVD that's on sale now at the Deseret Book called "Fires of Faith. . . The Coming Forth of the King James Bible". Financed by some of our more notable wealthy patrons of our Utah community, and by some BYU folks. . . it's actually an excellent documentary with a lot of diverse authorities and viewpoints. I highly recommend this.

More influential in the course of history, and the English language, than William Shakespeare. . . . .killed for translating the Bible into English.

And a few months after his martyrdom, King Henry VIII reversed his position yet again and began to order English bibles being made available in the churches. . . . "The Bishop's Bible".

But after "Boody Mary" killed oh 285 people for not being Catholics, her son King James ordered a new authoritataive translation. . . . which ended up being about 85% the work of William Tyndale, after all.

Anybody here seeing the pointlessness of Government control of religion, or education, or in any way being in the business of managing the human herd for the purposes of the "elites"?????

In the sixteenth century the government was just as insistent on "control" as our government is today. Tyndale was sheltered by some who supported his work, friends of Martin Luther, but he had hundreds of spies searching for him all across Europe. Spies sent out by both the Catholic Holy Roman Empire and the British agents of Henry VIII.

Amazing to me that dupes like Orrin Hatch or any "Mormon" who by all historical precedents oughta know that government agents prying into personal affairs is a bad idea, could stand for having a "Data Center" in Utah.

Somebody needs to campaign for Utah Governor on the promise to send these Fed hacks packing, passing laws prohibiting anyone from doing this in Utah. Set the Utah National Guard on task to shut down warrantless data collection. It is a violation of the Utah Constitution. Period.

Mormon Bishop, interviewing an HSA hack regarding a "temple recommend":

Do you obey the law of the land?

Hack: "Ha Ha. I am the law the land".
