hmmmm. . . . is it Sunday. . . . . I guess it's time for Sunday School.

There's an excellent essay on the Trinity in the Book of Mormon. Anyone care to comment on how some aborigines in the Americas anticipated Constantine's difficulties in composing an all-embracing theory on God?

So this isn't the LDS lesson manual, but it appears to be fairly valid/factual on most general points. . . .

In my reading of the Bible I see no clear statement of the idea of God actually being a human person like all the rest of us. The idea is generally that God is something else/someone else not to be taken lightly because of having absolute authority over man.

The Book of Mormon, in my eyes, appears to assume the Biblical God including the later doctrinal development of the Trinity. . . . In Mosiah 15 there is a specific attempt to logically present the Trinity in a simplified way. . . . .

There was/is an excellent treatise on Jesus being the "truth" done by Westinghouse in the early fifties, in a made-for-TV program Pontius Pilate.

here's the entire episode Pontius Pilate:
