Bro. The Jazz suck overall at building teams. They suck at drafting, trades, and free agency.

So it's actually an accurate assessment of the situation to see doom and gloom because their isn't any sign of hope. Without Rudy there really isn't any hope. That's become clear. Hayward and Favors are good, but they aren't ever going to get past a player like Lebron or Steph Curry. So ya, it's gloomy, knowing that we effed up again by not tanking right and managing assets right, like letting Millsap go for nothing. These issues were clear to see back then, and now they are showing up the way we all knew they would. We are again, stuck in the middle, in the worst spot possible, and we will tread water like this for a while. Guaranteed.

In the offseason I made very clear what my opinion was with the situation. I said bake the cake if you think Alec Burks was somebody who you thought would be good. But I said I don't like Alec Burks and we should move on from him. I made the very clear distinction. The reason why I did is because you can't expect Burks to continue to develop if you hire his replacement.
