Unless DM becomes an above average defender I’m not sure bringing in another defensive wing will change our fortunes.

I mean sure but JC also creates his own offense which is less efficient. JC has struggled but he also was huge in the Boston win.

Dan was a JC hater at points last year and really loved him some Exum.. Anytime he puts JC in his mouf I remind myself if that.
 
Doesn't mean **** if Rudy says he's upset. He was awful and refused to defend tonight as did the rest of the team. We've heard this a million times and yet they still won't compete. This is the same thing that happened last year. When things got awry, everyone on the team thinks they can fix it by playing hero ball. Nobody plays more defense and Quin is not the coach who can reign in his players to focus on the right things. Players are not held accountable. Maybe that's why the players love him so much.

Yeah, he was looking ok on defense for awhile...but he's as bad as ever right now. Not willing to put in minimal effort. In fact, he's putting in negative effort by giving up easy and1's with soft fouls. His defense has gotten drastically worse since he was a rookie and that's the main reason why I don't think he's improved as an overall player. He's a better passer and shooter, but much worse at attacking the hoop and has become a major liability on defense.
 
I think guys were saving legs , preparing for the bigger game tomorrow. Playoffs coming and you don't want anybody injured. It's pointless to win back to back.

Also Conley is missed. When he plays everything seems relaxed ,tonight we seemed to struggle.
