This. That big salary's yet another success story for Wes. I still like him and I'm glad for him.
I will always like Wesley Matthews. He's what's right with pro sports. Give me a team of Wesleys over LBJ any day.

I just don't get why KOC chose to give players like Gaines and Jeffers a 2nd year non-guranteed at the team's discretion and didn't bother to do that for Matthews regardless of how we thought he would do last year.
Love Wes, but sadly I don't think he'll do anything for a while. Hopefully i'm wrong.
You're right. And that'll be good for Jazz so they can give Wes a second contract at a good price and have him finish his career here. Here's to Raja lasting until then (just an 2 additional years).
Oh, come on, we all know this is complete and utter bull****. We all know you don't drive a Bentley - your chauffeur does.Thank you for agreeing with me. I like your username because it is the car I, the rich commish, drive.

Speaking of that, how is it getting tagged team by Kobe and Lebron?Gosh damn it I have a life on the weekends!
From Ross Siler vis Twitter:
"Kevin O'Connor usually chooses his words carefully but he was blunt in refuting idea that Jazz didn't try to make offer to Wesley Matthews".
"O'Connor told reporters to call Matthews' agent and ask what really happened behind scenes".
"Jazz felt there was little attempt to negotiate on Matthews' end".
Things actually happen "behind the scenes," that Jazzfanz aren't immediately informed of!? Like, who knew, I ax ya!? Does this mean that just because you aint privy to sumthin, it coulda happened anyway? Whooda thunk?
