Measurements

So much for Kanter having legit center size. He is slightly undersized when he is barely hitting 6'11" with shoes. Even considering:

Kanter = Greg Monroe, Troy Murphy, DeAndre Jordan, Rasheed Wallace; ¼ inch taller than DeMarcus Cousins, Channing Frye; ¼ in shorter than LaMarcus Aldridge, Nazr Mohammed, Kwame Brown

I would love to see a legit 7-footer come to us.

Little help figuring the liklihood of a Bismack fall to 12

Let's say first four picks are Irving, Dwill2, Kanter, Knight. This seems fairly likely.

5 - Raptors. Do they take Bismack?
6 - Wizards. They already have Mcgee, so I don't think so.
7 - Kings. They have Cousins and Dalembert. They might take him but I think they want a PG.
8 - Pistons. ? Do they want Bismack?
9 - Bobcats. ? I dunno - do they need Bismack?
10 - Bucks. They have Bogut. Do they have any needs more pressing than a defensive center?
11 - Warriors. Biedrins is their center. I guess Bismack could be a PF there but they have Lee and someone else I'm forgetting. Do you think they take Bismack?

I think he could. The Morris twins measured out better than expected and one may definitely propel ahead of him for a team that doesn't want to wait three years.

3. DWill/Kanter
4. Jonas
5. Knight
6. Vesely
7. Walker
8. Marcus Morris
9. Leonard
10. Burks (Mil loves him)
11. Donatas
12. Biyombo

Very realistic.

Oh, thanks for answering my question before I asked it.

I absolutely love Biyombo but would you take him and Kanter? That would leave Tomic,Kanter,Big Al,Millsap,Biyombo,Favors,Memo

Yes. Minny hoarded a bunch of PGs - but PGs are plentiful so you can't trade them as easily as guys with size. If Biyombo's there I say hoard size. Bismack's potential is worth the risk at 12.

Singleton is going to be one of those players, like Gerald Wallace, that is going to be drafted and Jazzfanz.com will be complaining about it for years. In fact, I predict in the next decade he'll be one of those players, just like Gerald and Jsmooth, who will have hundreds of threads talking about trading garbage and draft picks for them.

Indeed, he would be a perfect fit for us. A long athletic defensive minded wing who can also shoot.

Yet, we'll ignore him... Or draft some broken system player.

He'll be drafted by a team like the Clippers, Hawks, or Bobcats and his talents will be wasted there.

For some reason you and I usually have different opinions Thriller. But this one is right one. I hope we take Singelton at 12. As of right now unless someone really drops I don't see anyone I would rather have there.

I will admit I have not seen Biyombo play, other than highlights. But what I read of him in the draft reviews is enough for me to say no thank you. We do not need Ben Wallace light.

After seeing Jeremy Tyler run the floor and shoot really well I am intrigued by him. His body fat is a bit high and he is definitely a project but his size is great for a PF. If he slips to the mid second round I would trade something to get one of those picks. mid to late seconds seem easy enough to come by. He has potential through the roof but could easily bust due to attitude and lack of playing time the past couple years. I think his attitude might be humbled quite a bit the last year.

Memo? No one knows if he'll ever play again...
Tomic isn't coming anytime soon, seen his buyout?
Millsap has the most tradeable contract on our team.
Al? Meh.
Favors? Loads of potential but far from being this top 5 player of all time that people keep talking about.

The Jazz don't have near the amount of bigs you folks think.

If Biyombo is the BPA at #12, take him.
