But that's the biggest thing that could change, regardless of whether Millsap is here or not. That's the big issue, not Millsap.

That said, if Boozer doesn't come back (and he probably won't), there's going to be a pretty massive talent vacuum that will need filling and the Jazz would be way better off in this situation. Even though, again, there's absolutely no way it happens. If Boozer stays and the Jazz get Favors, holy crap.

Would you do it? Would take some salary off the books to resign boozer, and we would draft Turner or Favors. I might even throw in the memphis pick if NJ doesn't bite.

Yeah it's unlikely, but if we offered the memphis pick they might atleast consider it. Millsap, #9 and # 15 next year could land them 3 very good players. If they score big in free agency and with lopez holding down center, this could make them a pretty good team.

Nets, I talked to Avery yesterday. Sounds like he is high on Cousins but a) Thorn making the call and b) decent chance they trade pick

I'd do this trade. I really like either one of those players. Sometimes you have to sacrifice to make progress. We don't need much to improve. The Nets would do good by doing this trade. They have many more holes to fill. This trade will definitely help them do this. I'd hate to lose Millsap, but if we can get Favors or Turner then I would think it'd be worth it. However, I think I'd still go with Favors. Although, Turner could take pressure off of Deron to make plays. Ok, either player would be nice.
