I think they'll choose pay on net. So 50 K after the government steals half of their winnings.That's cool though. I didn't even know they were Mormon. I only watched that last episode yesterday of this race. It was a good leg to watch.

David was the oldest to ever win and the first parent/child combo to win. When you consider he blew his achilles the first time he played pretty amazing they won.

I'm a fan of the show and have been cheering for them all season! They seem like nice guys, and always treated the other teams with respect.

As to whether they pay tithing, that's a personal decision for them. But since all indications were that they are active Mormons, I suspect they probably will. As Duck mentioned, though, they might decide to pay on the post-tax winnings rather than the pre-tax winnings.

Interpret it however you want, but gains includes much more than just "wages".
