My Quarantine

So how long do you have to stay at home? If you all have the virus can are you good to leave after 14 days or can you still spread it? If you don't have it are you stuck there indefinitely until the virus dies out? This whole things seems like utter ********.

Well, I'm sure we can sort of do whatever the **** we want tbh. I know a ton of cops. Most have been instructed not to pull people over. I doubt any cop wants to come into close contact with another person. Anyway, I'm just trying to do my part to speed up the process. If Trump would've locked down the whole country minus essentials 7-10 ago (it was obvious 11-12 days ago this was coming), we'd be headed in the right direction. Instead, we've been pussyfooting it so I see this lasting into June most definitelty with September or longer a very real possibility.

If it lasts until Sept the country will have gone to **** by then. Hell, it's pretty much gone to **** already. I am not sure that the country I grew up in will ever recover in my lifetime.

Is that a bad thing?
Honestly you are an inspiring hero. I say that with all sincerity. I haven't been taking this seriously enough but what you are doing has influenced me to take it more seriously.
Many more people should be doing what you are doing imo.

Thank you but lmfao. I’m doing nothing special. I am still getting paid to teach from home. My wife (also working from home) have it much easier than those who can’t work from home, have elders they may have to take care of and so forth. Thanks but I honestly find this not to be a big deal. It sort of saddens, but doesn’t surprise, me that more people can’t do the same. I’m not saying I’m tough because I’m not but grown *** adults who can afford to do this and logistically can but aren’t are ****ing soft as **** and exactly what’s wrong with this country. Ignorantly going about their day, making excuses for the world around them, selfishly living their lives.

Damn son, hella good work. You regularly work out before the quarantine? If not, that's super impressive.
I weighed about 205 2 and a half months ago and started dieting. A few weeks into dieting I starting lifting at home and the gym and swimming and doing cardio. Did that for about a month and then hurt my back bad and took about a week off (kept dieting though). Then I started again for a little over a week and then got sick and took about 10 days off. Now I have been back at it for about a week.
I weighed 179 this morning! Lightest I have been since my mid 20's (I'm 43 right now)

I feel really good. Got my cholesterol checked recently and it was so low that the machine the doctor was using didn't even go that low. It went down to 150 and I was below that so that's good. (I think anything below 200 is good)
Blood pressure is great. I have only smoked 1 day (Superbowl) since December. Only done drugs 1 days since then (a little coke on Superbowl too. I went hard).

Not drinking booze as much. No soda, no fries, no chips etc. Lots of broccoli and smoothies (bananas, kale, yogurt, protein powder, hemp milk, berries) carrots, string cheese, Aussie bites, apples, chicken

Nice. Impressive with how short of time you've been at it, keep it up!

Thanks! It helps that my wife is into the whole fitness thing too. We are trying to make it a permanent lifestyle change.

Nice, a year or so ago or maybe a bit more but I lose track of time, I went from 217 to 182 ..... 95% of that was diet as I wasn't really working out at all. Then I've gotten lazy and have gotten back up to 195 and feel fat and disgusting. Going to try and get down to about 175-180 be end of the time the pools open (fingers crossed) so I can not be the fat *** dad this summer.

Good job man, losing weight sucks balls. But so does being a fat slob.

Lol so true on that last sentence. Most all of my weight loss has been due to diet as well. Dont even need to exercise at all really. Just eat good and dont eat very much. I honestly think the key to whole thing for me has been my smoothies that i eat each day.
Reason we started dieting and exercising was so we would look good on the beach in bathing suits on our cruise......... now the cruise is all but dead. :(
