And, yeah, the regular season doesn’t DETERMINE anything on its own... but that doesn’t mean play some determining influence. I really don’t think this is debatable. Kinda weird to see you dig into that take. Oh well.

I actually think the Grizzlies would be a tougher series. The Ws basically run the same few plays on offense. They run Curry off screens and handoffs, and if he gets doubled, they swing the ball to an open shooter. It just doesn't seem sustainable in a 7-game series. As it stands, their offense is ranked 20th in the league.

Defensively, they're pretty good, but Mitchell, Clarkson, Conley and Bogdanovic should be able to attack switches constantly.

So far the seeding is as normal for the 1vs8 and 1vs7 seeds. If the Grizz win we get a 1 seed vs 9 seed, that will be a first and rather strange.
