NBA playoffs, info from Woj

Well, yall can whine and complain but I am excited for some basketball! Besides, I am going to be playing some soccer starting around then as well.

Sports in our lives has been missing and everyone who wants to watch riots instead, have at it. I for one will put down the molotov cocktail to enjoy some basketball.

They said 4-6 months. When the surgery was originally happening I read something about it being as little as 3 to 4 months. So, mid September is 4 months and 5 months is mid October. I would not be surprised to see Bojan in the playoffs.

Serious question: when was the last time a Jazz player recovered from a medical procedure on the short end of the timetable?

I wonder how they will try to compensate the teams with homecourt advantage. I read about some ideas like: give the team with higher sees the first posession in 2nd 3rd and 4rd quarter, extra challange for a coach to use, allow the team to design one player who will be able to get ejected only after 7th foul (hate that one)..
 
So I think we are kinda hosed... I think almost every team benefited from a pause so their dudes could get healthy... except us... we lost our 3rd-4th best player and at a position that it’s tough for us to fill. Portland, New Orleans, Houston (was wearing out and it looks like Harden is in the best shape of his life now), Memphis will likely get 2-3 players back... #darkesttimeline


I expect this to be ugly... like possibly 2-6 and a gentleman’s sweep in the playoffs.
