Netflix recs?

This is us would make you cry like a ************* if you watch it. Great show man. Give it a chance.
The dad on the show is like the best dad/husband ever and actually inspires me to try to do better.
I was actually still married when it first came out, and my wife forced me to watch 3 or 4 episodes. I didn’t care for it one bit; seemed far too scripted/unbelievable/not really the way things work, for my taste.

As for Netflix recs, I’m sure I’m in the minority on this one, but I absolutely love The OA (at least I think that’s what it was called). Sure, it had its moments where I thought I’d be done watching the series without finishing it, but there was something about the last 30 minutes of the series that made me glad I stuck around. I’m far from being a movie buff like some of you are, but that ending really hit me hard. I rarely cry during movies/shows, but the waterworks were in full force for me on that one.
Yes you are in the minority. I thought it had potential but it was supremely disappointing IMO. I thought they tried way too hard to make it mystical and magical when it really just came across as forced and silly.

Now that I’ve said it, I guess I cry during movies and shows more than I thought...

I just watched the first season of Lost In Space, and while I didn’t really care for the first episode and almost didn’t watch any more, I’m glad I did. Again, the last little bit of the final show was heart-wrenching, and I found myself sobbing again like a lil’ bitch with a skinned knee. Without giving too much away, the scene with the tar pit was unbelievable.

It doesn’t hurt that I’d give half my kingdom for a threesome with those two sisters, and I normally don’t find black chicks all that attractive...

I was the opposite. I thought the first episode could have been turned into a stand alone movie. Then it went to crap.

They should have ended it with season 1. That episode drug on longer than Amos Richards' leg.

Yeah I could watch that series for those sister's alone.

I just added 7-8 Marvel movies to my list to catch up. It would be great if they could add Black Panther and GoG movies.

The 3½ hour Scorcese Documentary on George Harrison called Living in the Material world is a masterpiece. (it's split in 2 parts btw)

Slow West is actually a sneaky good netflix new movie, it's a modern western. Good enough for me to recommend. Also, for a western it's very short, like 100 mins or less.

Touch of Evil (1958) starring Orson Welles(directed and wrote the screenplay as well), Charleton Heston, and Janet Leigh. Is must see 10/10 good as far as I'm concerned.

Also I rewatched the Truman show for the first time in a long time and would recommend anyone to do the same. Excellent movie.
