Netflix recs?

Started Black Mirror last night, as I stated in the TV thread. It's def a good watch.

Just finished episode one of the second season of The Fall. God damn, this show is ****ing good!!! Strong opener and 100% on RT for the series.

I'm also enjoying following the show recaps on UK's The Independent. Good write ups!

I'm a little more than halfway thru "Reign". I didn't think I would like it, but holy hell, I'm hooked.

Folks, if you do one thing in regards to watching Netflix, please watch Black Mirror. The 1st season is only 3 episodes. While the first and second episodes are indeed thought provoking in a "how will the future impact our lives" kind of way, the third episode just makes it completely ****ing personal. Maybe, because I've experienced something similar in regards to gut instinct but this episode was incredibly anxiety provoking and almost hard to watch.

Episode 3 of the 1st season...

All I can get here is German netflix. Any German netflix suggestions?

I may revive my account though and watch through a proxy. Need to buy a TV first. We haven't had a TV at all our first 3 months here. Weird.

Thank you. We have a VPN, mostly for gaming, but we have been watching some Amazon Prime stuff over the connection. We are rethinking netflix and rethinking if we need a TV or not. We are probably only going to be here for a year, maybe year and a half, and we bought a small TV for the kids (37") for their games and such. That has been our go-to TV so far, and since a Euro TV won't work in the US I don't see a reason to buy a bigger one.

But I have my sites set on an 80" curved screen job when we move back. Need 3...1 for the family room, 1 for our bedroom wall, and 1 for the bedroom ceiling. Talk about immersive.

The Almighty Johnsons.

New Zealand show about Norse Gods hopping on a ship to.. well... New Zealand. The first season is slow, and takes itself too seriously for the first episode or three. But it's hilarious.

Oh, word. I thought you and the family were there for the long haul. I didn't know this project was that short of a span. When you do move back stateside are you moving back to beautiful Reno or do you have your sight's set on Reno's sister city, Bakersfield?
