I don't consider deception to be the same thing as PC, and I think this falls more into the deception/protection category.

interesting, it's been the norm here for a few years that any terrorist type assault is rarely reported as an "Islamic terrorist" the media seem to go to great pains to not mention the facts that nearly all of the perpetrators we've seen on our shores are radical muslims. Bending over backwards to not offend Islam seems to be not only the PC thing but even some more recent anti villification laws could be seen to be a threat to freedom of speech .. interesting area

So let me get this straight. You apologize for being a dick and then come back to say that I took it wrong? How else am I supposed to take your badgering? Was I supposed to find it funny? Then you list a bunch of dudes to try to frame me as the problem? You are a piece of work.

I agree - he seemed to be trying to lie a lot less frequently in this speech. At least many of his stats were sort of close, if somewhat misconstrued.

I was interested to see if he could actually read a speech and not deviate into self-praise at every turn. He managed to do so. His handlers must have nearly threatened his life or he finally saw the value in trying to not "be himself" quite so much. It was too long, though.

But I'll give him props. He got a room full of Republicans to cheer for LGBTQ issues, surprising him as well as me. Who would have thunk it?
