News, rumors and buzz around the draft and free agency

Shams no joke. The fact the Jazz made a decisive move for Conley early allows them to try to poach the Bogey while Indiana is scrambling to find a point guard.

Pacers probably aren't going to get D'Angelo, so they have to make a play for Brogdon or settle for a non-shooter like Rubio.

you know net rating is one of the most overrated stats in the NBA, right? it has everything to do with sample size/coaches' rotations/opponents you are facing. garbage players can easily score sky-high net ratings by playing against scrubs in garbage time. and themselves don't even have to play well, as long as their teammates do and the team score points.

check this out:

https://stats.nba.com/players/advanced/?sort=NET_RATING&dir=-1&Season=2018-19&SeasonType=Regular Season

your top 10 leaders in net ratings during 2019 season are:

kobi simmons
tahjere mccall
rj hunter
john holland
alan williams
gary payton the son
troy caupain
pj dozier
jaylen morris
davon reed

let's sign them all. shall we?
Where are you getting that list from? Didn't you see the tweet in the screen shot. The top 4 were neto, Steph, Danny green, and Giannis. I think Giannis and Steph are actually good players.

Oh I see in your link that you didn't use any filter for games or minutes. So if a guy plays one minute in one game then he can make your list.
Well that's stupid. You should at least filter for actual rotational players.

You mean Raul wasn't even top 10? Sounds like a championship team right there if we sign those guys. Raul can come off the bench.
Ya he included dudes that literally played 1 minute in the entire season. Kinda dumb.

Harris alone over Conley? That's crazy. Getting a good shooting lead guard was more important than a stretch 4. Getting a proven playoff player who can handle the ball and run an offense in tense situations was more important than getting a stretch 4.

I like Harris, but him and Conley aren't in the same tier.
I disagree and believe Donovan would make a great lead guard. We can disagree on that too.
