NFL Talk

I can't stand the Denver Broncos, and yet I have found myself watching their games and rooting for them to win. Tebow is some sort of Svengali.

If Tebow ever learns to become a better passer and Bronco's continue to play suprisingly good D, Denver should easily make the playoffs.

Well the Steelers won on the road so I can't complain. 8-3 and now host the Bungles at home next week. IF Polomalu indeed got another concussion (And it looks like it) that hurts as he will not play next week. The guy needs to quit dropping his head and diving for legs... a knee to the noggin is no fun.

Ahead of Oakland? Somehow as a wild card team? There are six teams ahead of them and two others with the same record.

I don't see it happening. But maybe.

The Broncos play at Minnesota, Chicago, New England, at Buffalo, and KC. Three of five are at home. Three of five are against teams with losing records. Ponder is one of the worst QB's in the league and who knows how Chicago and KC's QB swap will work out. Buffalo is in an absolute nosedive. I don't think it's likely but I think this is a fairly easy schedule and Denver could make the playoffs. Consider too that if it comes down to tiebreakers, they tied the Raiders head to head and currently have a better divisional and conference record than Oakland. In other words, they could gain just one game on them and win via the tiebreakers. And Oakland has games left at Miami (playing great ball), at Green Bay, vs. Detroit (Suh should be back then if he is only suspended two games), at KC (Arrowhead's no cakewalk), and vs. SD. I see that as a tougher schedule than what Denver has left. Additionally, if they do not catch Oakland, they did beat the Jets and Bengals head to head and would hold the cards over either of them if it came down to a tie.

I hope both make it along with the other three division winners and Ravens/Steelers.

Didn't realize the Raiders were also on their own run. Looks like it will be neck and neck. Will be interesting.

The Giants got hosed even with the refs giving the Saints some the most ridiculous personal foul calls I have seen in a while.
