49ers are now officially NFC West Champions!!! First team to win their division this year. It's great to be back. Now hope the Giants can beat the Packers.

Damn that last defensive series by the Giants was pathetic. Saints about to whoop some ***. No Suh = no pass rush = Breesus raining down TD's
 
I say this in all seriousness, but the further the season goes along, the more impressed I am by the Niners and just how dominant they've been. One loss was in OT and the other was on the road in prime time on Thanksgiving night against the HC's brother against a swarm of bees in the Ravens. Going into this week, only five teams had a season long margin of victory greater than 100 total points and they were one off the five (along with stud offenses GB, NO, NE and Houston who perhaps doesn't have a stud offense but does play very strong on both sides of the ball) which is very impressive considering how vanilla their offense is. If things fall right, I could see them going to the SB. Stranger things have happened.
 
Yeah they have been playing good, but they still haven't played that many good teams and are in one of the weaker conferences in football.

I wasn't going to reply, but just wanted to point out that in your attempt at mocking me you are WRONG! Packers have not clinched their division yet. They have however clinched a playoff spot. If Detroit loses tonight, then the Packers will clinch the division.

Tebow with a 149.2 NFL rating for the game.

The D blew chunks most of the 2nd half. That pick was about the only significant play that they had. While it gave Denver the win, had they played decent at all it wouldn't have come to that last minute defensive play.
 
While possible I don't the the 9'ers will get to the SB their O-line still doesn't pass protect very well and for as good as Davis and Crabtree are the few games I've seen they've always had at least a couple drops.


Oh yeah my Phins blew out the Raiders so that feels good makes me wonder if they'll draft a QB, I think they will draft Barkley despite how well Moore has been playing.
Also while I'm always happy when Dallas loses why the heck couldn't they choke last week when playing my Phins.
 
If the Packers and 49ers meet at Lambeau in terrible January conditions, making it hard for Rodgers to throw, then the 49ers actually have the advantage. They just line up and show you where they are going to run and nobody can stop them. They remind me of the smashmouth of the mid-80s Giants (on defense, too, with their linebackers flying around).

If I were the Packers, I'd also worry about catching the Saints on the wrong day. Those dudes can SCORE.

That said, it's hard to find a fault with the Packers.
