How do you draft a stud with no draft pick?

I think the Jazz are going to sort this out. They can't get shut out of this next draft. They could get a guy like Mikel Brown with the #5 or #6 pick.

Zach Lowe has been adamant that we’re looking to trade Lauri. No idea what the plan here is - feels like a Lauri trade would piss off a lot of casual fans.

The Spurs would want him, but I don't think the Jazz would send him there.

all those Lauri rumors have been very non specific and pretty much regurgitating the same old narrative. Kinda over it .

Markkanen doesn’t look remotely like the same guy we had last season - even his All Star year wasn’t this caliber. Forget the soft label, total aggressive alpha dog now. I say we give OKC one of our firsts in 2031 to keep this year’s pick and make the most of Markannen’s window, cause we ain’t gonna do any better than this. And with George, Walker, Svi, Sensabaugh and the other up and comers, we might could shock the world in that time. But we give up Markannen for another roll of the dice, it’s back to square one.

He's not close of being 1A in contending level team. These three games have been great match ups wise. Especially bc Clips decided to sleep the whole game. Lauri has improved his ball handling but it still isn't at 1A level. Good defenses will show us that along the season again. He'd make a good #2

Why Jazz cannot make playoffs?
Utah Mammoth has surprised everyone in NHL so if they can fight for playoff spot then why not Jazz.

Because the rest of the NBA besides the Suns would not try to play 4 guards+1 crappy PF against the opposing tall frontline. The only reason why the Jazz one was because the Suns inexplicable started the game with Ighodaro as their only big. They were -15 in his 13 minutes. When the Suns turned to Mark Williams they killed the Jazz (+13 in his 31 minutes). Why they did it I don't know: some weird experiment, I guess.

Cenac or Yessoufou probably, unless someone really emerges. Maybe Quaintance or Lopez, but I doubt it.

dude 1A is number 2 in the heirarchy of a team. And i said "if" These 3 games he's played are pretty close to a 1 A level
