What's new

Kessler just leveled up this season, and in so many facets. Free throw shooting, dribbling, passing, finishing at the rim, 3-point shooting... Walker looks like he can end up being a top-7 center at some point.

Top 7? when has top 7 been a thing? Top 7 things I hate about this post? maybe

Wish I could just root for my team without all these other factors. Holy **** was that Favors trade/re-signing terrible.

Had other obligations tonight, but holy moly Lauri went off.

Looks like Kessler and Key also had great games.

Great win! Loved watching it. Should have ended regular time though. Almost choked that one away, which is not good for development. Nice to see the guys engaged and trying unlike a huge chunk of last season.

I definitely don't want to see shameless hardcore tanking again and neither does the league. This team is too good to be bottom of the league. Kessler looks like an all-star and Lauri looks like an all-nba this year. It would be very dumb to trade them. I know our gambling addicts on here disagree though.

The young guys will improve across the season as well. George is looking good so far this season Ace was rough but he'll come along. We definitely shouldn't just force him minutes if he is playing like this, he needs to beat out Svi, which I think he can/will.

Lauri is looking like a #1 guy. He might not keep it up, but people are lying to themselves if they say he hasn't been that this season so far. His stats after 3 would put him towards the top of MVP list if he kept it up and we got guys on hear claiming he's playing like a #2 this year. He was also getting hammered non stop and refs could have legitimately called a foul half the possessions with him in. I'm hoping he stays healthy, this is fun to watch.

I keep coming back to this, but besides Steph, who’s actually better off the ball or draws more off-ball attention than Lauri? There were times when three Suns players committed to take away his back door cuts. I'm sure that as the season progresses, the rest of the team will learn to better capitalize on those moments. I really liked that Lauri kept on running non stop even if the initial action didn't yield any results.

Without a doubt, his playing style is absolutely exhausting.

Even so. If given the choice of the clock running out on that possession or being allowed to swarm Lauri and get a steal or foul and hope he misses free throws im pretty sure they would rather have option 2.
I could see that Lauri really wanted that 50 and figured they would probably win either way (which is true. When you have the ball up 2 with 4 seconds left you will usually win no matter what you do there)
Worked out in the end.
Hold ball

Although this team looks good, we could literally run it back next year with AJ, Peterson, or Boozer as well. I'm nervous we'll go for an 8th seed
