What's new

Off-Season Rumblings

I don’t think any player is more likely to be an all star than not in this draft. It’s not great at the top. But Shep is the most likely imo. His minutes without Dillingham were dynamite, and seeing Coach Cal nerf one of his guards is nothing new. He freaking had DJ Wagner starting over both Shep and Dillingham.

Those 350ish (SSS ofc) minutes make for the most convincing star argument out of anyone in this draft.

I think I’m out on Castle.

I think he’s a decent prospect, not sure he’s that much better than guys we could get at 10. He was getting so much love around here after/during the tournament….I like him but I felt like people were dismissing his awful shooting way too easily.

I feel somewhat vindicated today by Givony going mask off on his shooting, but in reality we didn’t need that. He shot less than 25% outside of the paint and these were wide open, defense begging him those shots.

Always a chance a bad shooter becomes good, but it’s clear he’s bad and not just a guy who needs more confidence. He’s got no confidence in his shooting bc he’s sucked at shooting. He’s also a really low stocks guy, which is troubling for his case as an elite defender.

He’s got a really good feel for the game though. Definitely warts in his game but he’s just one of those guys who looks like he’ll figure it out a make an impact one way or another.

Give us 17, remove '27 protections and gives us the 2029. Shoot I would even let you top 2 protect it.

We don’t need all of that. If the intel is true at all, that’s exciting. #29 + #32 + Clarkson for #17 + matching salary sounds good to me. Around 17 is where it starts to feel like the draft starts dropping off a tier.

If they want him bad enough, maybe we only need to send one of those picks?

I bet the Kings get one of the Nets forwards.
