Yeah I mean in 10 years with almost 20 picks I think you could draft someone that is top 15 ish. Lauri is probably a top 20ish guy but because of age I think you can justify saying he’s a top 15ish type guy to build around. In the western conference right now that’s not a perennial AS. He will make some all star games some years and others he won’t. I wonder if there is a term for that. Fine referring to him as an all star… he’s all star quality. In the East he probably makes it more often than not.
It’s just weird to think we can’t draft guys that can become better than that given all the opportunity we will have and the fact that we’ve done it before with less opportunity.
