Off-Season To-Do List

No AK please... didn't he get hurt again last night? Injury prone with no jump shot hurts us more than his periodic defensive efforts and offensive surges help us.

The way Barnes is playing and how everybody is talking about him, we are not going to get him with the #6 pick. Let's hope we move up with some luck. Agree with Bentley that he is the best prospect and if he works out, he is someone we never had in the shooting guard position (ability to make clutch shots and create for himself).

if we could get AK for the vet minimum it would be a no brainer, but considering its like a million dollars no way he signs for that. We have to have someone who can guard Durant next year that is all I got to say.

I do not want AK back simply because he is not going to take a big pay cut. He is not going to take $3 or $4 million to stay. Besides if he was "forced" to take a huge paycut and a backup role he would just pout. Another reason why I don't want him to stay is because he takes away minutes from our young players. The young players need to play and grow together. If the Jazz just play vets to stay competitive then they will just be in the same situation in a few years (young guys who need playing experience).

I would pick up CJs option because despite his flaws his contract is cheap. I wouldn't trade Millsap yet. He has the most value on the team but he is also one of the few warriors the Jazz have. However, trading him might be the only option after the next couple of drafts. I say wait until the Jazz make their picks and see if the new draftees/Favors are ready for prime time. Then I would try to package him and either Memo expiring/Bell for a player that is proven and fits the Jazz needs.

I would like to see Elson, Price, AK, Bell and Fess gone. I would only agree to keep Fess if he would commit to a summer training camp with Karl Malone.

I would try to draft two of the following players. Irving, Barnes, Williams, Kanter, Jimmer, Leonard, T. Jones, Hamilton, P. Jones or Nolan Smith.

AK also takes away the hard work mentality. Didn't Deron say something about him being the first out of practice every night. The least our veterans can do is show the rookies how to work hard. That's why I want Millsap still. Him and AJ will show the rest of the team how it's done.

To those of you that are campaigning for Barnes, I have sad news for you...one of the two scenarios will take place:

1) He won't declare and he'll be the #1 pick in the 2012 draft
2) He'll get drafted before #6

On and off for the last 3 years.

Well, you should know then that VINY will call someone a "son of a bitch" as a term of endearment...or he says it because you truly are a "son of a bitch"... I think the interpretation is up to you.

I personally decide which version is most self-serving and call it good. OH, BTW..... you... son... of... a... bitch!
