Official Announcement! Gameface Poker Resurrection -- Saturday Apr. 23rd @7pm

On that note, there will be discussion about a league starting in May. Gustavo (my boss) is way super hard core into poker tournaments and especially leagues. We've talked about a couple details, but if you are interested in participating I encourage you to give input to make it the kind of league you'd want to play in. Nothing is set in stone at this point so there is room to move as far as the details are concerned. I'm not sure where he lives so we'll have to figure that out, but the plan so far is to rotate the location between at least my house and his house. And the plan right now is for there to be six games, one game per month.
 
Hey gameface, does the poker tourney start at 7 or 8?
 
If my boss hits me up around 4 to go into work I'm gonna punch him in the ****ing face, lol I can feel it coming

So the official start time is 7pm. Usually there is still some buying people in and getting them into their seats. My goal is to have cards in the air at 7:15. Hopefully it isn't much later than that if at all. I appreciate it when people show up a little early if possible, like around 6:45 so that we can get all that out of the way. But don't really want people here much earlier than that because I'm usually in a bit of a rush to get everything ready.

As stated, if it's 7:15 and you're not here and I haven't heard from you that you're gonna be late I might give your seat away.
 
Sorry to be flip floppy but I can stay later now. You can put me down as an alternate. If there is room, great. If not ill hang out for a bit and have fun either way.

Well said. I would have hated that chick i bet. My own decorum may get a bit out of hand at times as im usually pretty hammered at these things but i am usually self aware enough to realize when i need to chill out and I get myself under control. Plus, im very open to people telling me to calm down and telling me im getting too rowdy when im drunk. Probably one of my best drunk guy qualities. So if im there tonight and Im annoying anybody just let me know and I will alter my behavior without any hard feelins or grudges held. Im not the type of drunk who thinks im doing no wrong and will argue with people when told that im getting out of hand.

And yeah, as much as I like Dave and enjoy having him at the poker games, he definitely pushes the envelope in regards to behavior more than any of the other regulars. I might not mind so much because for some reason it seems like he's always on the other table.

Okay, there has been a lot of movement but the count is still a solid 20.
