Conley won’t be back. He of course is stepping up in a contract year. Will price him out as it slim pickings for free agents next off-season. He will be older and overpaid on that deal.

Jazz should already be targeting his replacement .

This is the most likely scenario if we’re being honest with ourselves.
 
Conley is now +215 on the year which is good for the league best. Next closest player? LeBron at +168.
 
The pessimistic side of me thinks this will be an outlier year because it is a contract year.

Our window is now, and everyone is aging, so all the chips are in for this year.

If we win a championship this year then I won't care. But if we resign him for a lot of money after a 2nd round exit, that would be stupid.
