I beg the differ. The GSW game clearly shows the improvement our young players have made over the 1/2 season. It's clear as day to see.

Like it or hate it, KOC/Ty's method of developing young players are working. These guys are HUNGRY for wins. And also to keep winning.

Yes, but what this has done to Favors and Burks have been that they are HUNGRY for minutes and HUNGRY for wins. It's not the norm, but it seems to be working.

Jazz fans will support a team working towards something, see the 42-42 season. Smart jazz fans won't support a team going nowhere, especially when they are being told time and time again they are building towards something but nothing ever happens.

Recent Jazz history:

Stockton and Malone retire.

Bad season, but fun to watch, with players to build around = hope.
Sign AK to a max, we are going to build around him.
Sign Boozer and Memo.
Boozer and Memo get hurt, bad season.
The Jazz take a risk, move up and get Deron.
The team looks very promising, AK holds this team back. This is where the crap begins. We can't trade AK because he is an asset. His contract doesn't let us get better, we reach a ceiling 4/5th seed.
Boozer isn't our bedrock post player. His contract is coming to an end. We can't trade him, he is an asset. We lose him for a second round pick.
Resign Memo. He is an asset. We get almost one season out of him. We trade him for nothing.
AK's contract is expiring. We can't trade him, he is an asset.
Send three firsts for Al, didn't use our "assets" to get him.
And now history is repeating itself.

It's getting old. At least try.

You just listed at least 5 times where they did "try". You convienentiely left out the DWill tade...
 
The Jazz used the Memo TPE to get Mo, and used the Boozer TPE and a few ****ty picks to get Al. I'm curious who you think the Jazz could've turned Memo and Boozer into?

It doesn't matter what they could have done. What matters is that they didn't do what he would have done and therefore do not deserve his support.

I was going to post this as well. I thought the Jazz did a pretty good job working with those trade exceptions.

On an unrelated Jazz note, I'm interested to see what Orlando does with their Howard trade exception. I mean we could essentially give them Al if they wanted him.

The Jazz aren't winning this year, we don't know what's actually on the table for the vets, and we have no idea how the Jazz are going to handle their flexibility this summer and beyond. Yes, the holding pattern is frustrating, but it's still too early to be freaking out IMO.

Unfortunately, that'd put them over the luxury tax line. Franklin's mentioned this before, as doing so would give the Jazz the flexibility to do a renegotiate and extend with Millsap (with a bunch of cash up front, and a decent contract for the following 3 years). Oh well.

If they do not make a deal I would like to know what deals were on the table before I react to not taking them.

I want Bledsoe for Millsap but not if it costs us Burks or hayward.

No I agree with this to some extent. I'm not ready to dump the Jazz if no move is made. My main fear here is that there is no indication the FO is forward thinking. If we can S&T one or both of them, I think we'd all be happy with that.

You're totally right in saying that it's the holding pattern that is pissing us off, we thought 2 years ago we'd flip Al or Paul when we were clearly rebuilding, thought the same thing at the deadline last year, and now here we are again.
