I don't understand the point of gaining flexibility for this summer when there are literally zero appealing free agents. If we have to take on Butler or really whoever in order to get Bledsoe, who cares?

if this offers on the table, the jazz should do it. i wouldn't bet on it thoughI'd happily go Millsap and both picks. We really don't need 2 more rookies, or even one more. We can hardly develop the young talent we already have.

@NBAGuru
One thing worth noting: sign-and-trades much easier to complete with new CBA. Teams with cap room have way less urgency to make moves NOW.
@NBAGuru
Under-the-cap teams like MIL, MIN, ATL, UTA, PHX could stand pat tomorrow, and it's partially because they retain flexibility come July.
@NBAGuru
So that could mean a quieter trade deadline, but the flipside is it would mean a CRAZY summer with so many FAs and so much $ out there.
I've said this a few times, but:
Al/Earl/Evans, Carroll, and/or Bell
for
Bledsoe/Butler/Odom
