Olympic sports that should be gotten rid of

I haven't watched enough equestrian to see the medal ceremonies, but I'm conflicted as to who should have that damn medal hanging from their neck -- the human or the horse.

You must have missed beach volleyball. I was, ummm, fascinated by the camera focusing in on the hand signals the women were using.

Volleyball is a "must-see" for me. Partly because it was the sport I was best at as a teen. Half the US basketballers are guys I despise, so I'm less interested in watching the games.


I've got a few additions to the OP list:
Badminton
Table Tennis
Trampoline (may as well have hula-hooping too!)
Womens' Weightlifting

Need to reinstate:
Softball
Baseball

Couldn't agree more on Baseball. It is pathetic that it got the axe. The Wold Baseball Classic now has about 28 teams participating. The sport is growing around the world. It's pathetic that they can keep some of these sports in and get rid of Baseball. I get it, we don't need to watch every game. But it should certainly be in the Olympics.

Dude, horses are actually decent swimmers. Unless you're referring to them constantly being hit in the head with those sticks. Maybe this is why colton wants it gone from the Olympics.

Why hate on badminton and table tennis? Way more interesting sports then baseball or softball. It is Olympics and countries from all world participate, why would anybody want to watch sports which are popular only in USA, Cuba, Japan and Canada?

Again, this is you not knowing the facts. 28 teams currently participate in the World Baseball Classic and that list is growing *** the sport is growing. To make some assumption that Ping Pong or Badminton is more interesting is really just ignorant. Do I actually enjoy watching those sports for awhile? Sure. Are they Baseball? Not even close.
