He's a full second or more too early with his feedback on the game; so the viewer hasn't even absorbed and started to reflect on the play before he's rushed right in and given a statement. Good post. He gives good insight but he's too keen. I haven't liked Harpring as much lately either. With both of them I think there needs to be more attention paid to the game and as you said let the viewer reflect a little more. Love Ron Boone, wish we could have more of him.

I watch all Jazz broadcasts with headphones in. Boler's voice makes for decent youtube vids when I rewatch highlights.

Harpring and this other guy and Boone are all terrible. so is Boler, but it's less offensive when he's just a play by play dude with a good voice.

That's what I'm saying... he doesn't seem like our guy... I don't need a full homer, but I want to feel like the broadcasters are rooting for us... the emotion and connection isn't there.

Just run old replays of hot rod-isms over the game no analysis... just someone pushing a button and hearing "gentle push and a mild arc and the old cowhide globe hits home" and "you gotta love it baby".

I'm willing to deal with Harpring/Smith/whoever for another 5 years or so as long as its guaranteed that Joe Ingles takes his place the second he retires.
