I wish I liked Mike Smith. I don't. The biggest issue is his timing. He's a full second or more too early with his feedback on the game; so the viewer hasn't even absorbed and started to reflect on the play before he's rushed right in and given a statement. And his vocal pitch is annoyingly consistent throughout all this. FML. Jazz broadcasts are always going to bother me. I guess all TV does, though.
Good post. He gives good insight but he's too keen. I haven't liked Harpring as much lately either. With both of them I think there needs to be more attention paid to the game and as you said let the viewer reflect a little more. Love Ron Boone, wish we could have more of him.
